This is a view of the tree from the loft above the hearth area. The tree compliments the rock hearth and wrought iron fire place doors. The fire place doors measure approximately 7 feet wide x 6 feet tall and give some idea of the scale of the tree. |

The detail of the trunk and root system of the tree can be seen in this photo. The roots run out on the hearth very similar to how the tree grows on the cliff tops in nature. |
