The process of creating these custom chairs starts with the collection of the proper materials. Many different material options are reviewed in various orientations and set aside for later consideration before the final materials are selected. The final design is rarely ever put to paper before actual fabrication begins. Imagination and vision are the tools that are used to create these custom chairs. Though based on sound theory for general dimensional criteria for a comfortable chair, all convention ends at this point, and fabrication of the chair begins.
